The 2019 Annual SMA Conference is just over two months away and Cure SMA is excited to announce the details of the events held at this year’s conference.
Open to all conference attendees, the popular Meet & Greet will be held on the evening of Friday, June 28th. This event includes the Researcher Relay Race and the opportunity to meet Micky and Minnie Mouse, Donald and Daisy Duck, and Wreck It Ralph face-to-face! There will be plenty of games, activities and prizes for all of the children to enjoy.
On the evening of Saturday, June 29th, there will be two special events: The Family Friendly Researcher Poster Session, and the Family PJ Party and Movie Night.
The Family Friendly Researcher Poster Session is a great opportunity for families to interact one-on-one with researchers to learn more about the different research projects being showcased. Toy Story characters Woody, Jessie and Buzz Lightyear, as well as Pluto, will be visiting with everyone as well!
After a fun and busy day, families are invited to gather at the Family PJ Party and Movie Night, where we will be showing the movie Toy Story and enjoying movie snacks.
The exciting Cure SMA Evening at the Park will be held on Sunday, June 30th. Make sure to wear your conference t-shirts while we raise awareness for spinal muscular atrophy throughout Disney.
