A Beneficiary Designated Gift is a charitable contribution in which the donor designates Cure SMA as a beneficiary to receive assets or proceeds from a financial account or insurance policy upon the donor's death.

A bequest is a provision in a donor's will or trust that designates a specific asset, portion of the estate, or percentage of the estate to be gifted to Cure SMA upon the donor's death.

A Donor Advised Fund (DAF) is a philanthropic giving vehicle administered by a public charity that allows donors to make charitable contributions, receive immediate tax benefits, and recommend grants to Cure SMA over time.

A Major Gift refers to a substantial financial contribution made to a charitable organization in the form of cash, typically larger than standard donations and often designated for specific projects or initiatives. For Cure SMA, a Major Gift is a one-time gift of $10,000 and above.

A Charitable Lead Trust is a planned giving arrangement where assets are placed into a trust that pays a fixed or variable income to Cure SMA for a specified period, after which the remaining assets are distributed to noncharitable beneficiaries.
